It effectively addresses the issue of a significant reduction in the driving range of new energy vehicles caused by battery faults and disparities in the capacities of individual cell. By performing economical and efficient battery pack maintenance, it contributes to extending the service life of the battery.

Maintenance Principle
 

By incorporating the design of isolated channels, each channel is equipped with an advanced processor. This enables precise and independent charging, discharging, and data computation for each battery channel. Parameters from individual cells are collected and analyzed using intelligent algorithms to identify underlying issues within the battery pack. Through controlled methods such as charging, discharging, low charging and high discharging, the voltage consistency across each cell string is ensured, maintaining the voltage difference between cells at a factory-standard level. Consequently, the weak-link effect of the battery pack is mitigated, restoring the overall performance to its original state. Additionally, the equipment features capacity measurement functionality, enabling accurate assessment of the battery's actual capacity. The isolation channel detection technology can pinpoint faulty cells and mark them within the system, providing a reliable basis for efficient battery maintenance. This multi-functional device integrates capacity testing, charging performance evaluation, and balanced maintenance, making it a comprehensive solution for lithium battery pack upkeep.

The Bucket Effect In the EV Power Battery

In a series circuit, the current flowing through each battery is equal. Consequently, when there is an imbalance among individual cells, during discharge, the cell with the lowest capacity will be fully discharged first. Once the battery with the lowest capacity is completely discharged, the entire battery pack ceases discharging. Thus, the battery with the lowest capacity determines the discharge capacity of the entire battery pack. Similarly, during charging, the single battery with the highest capacity will reach its full charge first. Once the battery with the highest capacity is fully charged, the charger halts the charging process. Hence, the battery with the largest capacity determines the charging capacity of the entire battery pack. When there is an imbalance in power among individual cells, the battery with the lowest power will never achieve full charge, and the battery with the highest power will never reach complete discharge. This results in a low utilization rate of the overall battery capacity, insufficient battery capacity, and a significant reduction in the driving range of the battery.
